My lucky stars

This is going to be one long entry.

Here's last week....

Twenty started on a good footing for me. Many thanks to all who made it a memorable one for me. :)

1) Dinner at my place

My schoolmates came over for dinner and we had so much fun that Monday night simply because we couldn't stop laughing at jokes you might not wanna hear. :D With great company, delish food and the perfect setting, Monday night was faboo. :D

2) Outing with my mum, Shaheedah & my cousins on my birthday

Since there's 9 of us, we decided to take the train that day. When I told Shaheedah that, she laughed for a full 30 seconds. :P It's not as if I don't keep my ez-link with me all the time. Lol. It's been months. I particularly like the fresh colors of the seats. It's like the seats followed the colored skinnies trend. How fashionable. Lol.

Anyway, we ended the night at my place where my aunts and uncles joined us for dinner. I've sinned not to have taken more pictures. :S

My birthday went well. :)

3) Time to smack that

I'll just let the pictures do the talking for this one. :D

4) Chocolate Buffet @ The Fullerton Hotel with Yadz

I had no clue about this suprise of his but fortchly I was appropriately dressed for that. :) I indulged well that night, discarding the thought of how rich my calorie bank will be at the end of the night. Hurhur. How sinful. Then again, it's not everyday that we get to eat such lavish desserts. =)

And of all the gifts I got, I still think that this box of yum is the cutest gift of all. I feel younger. Lol. :D To nice to be eaten but I ended up completing the entire box in less than a week. =)

He claimed there's a part II next week because the 'real' gift hasn't arrived yet. . :) Hmm... =D I have no idea what's under his sleeves.

5) Foursome

Dinner, some camera-loving and our version of My Little Pony 'cartoon'. I can never have enough of these girls. :)

In other news, I've a story that's worth sharing.

Last Wednesday, I was supposed to pay Marina Square a visit with my mum. I got ready early and decided to drive down to the nearest Mcdonalds to get myself lunch. When I was parking my car, a stranger approached me and told me that my tyre was actually punctured. I had no idea that I was driving with a punctured tyre because the car seemed to be pacing normally. He told me not to drive far because that will eventually damage the tyre further. Took his word and decided to drive to the nearest petrol station to seek help. There I was then informed that my tyre was busted and I had no choice but to get a new one. Since I was three minutes away from home, I decided to take the slowest drive home to park my car before anything else happens. The short ride home was a bumpy one and when I reached home, I realised that the tyre was literally torn.

Yowtch!

I couldn't help but imagine what would happen if I were to skip lunch, did not bump into the stranger, took the ECP route straight from home (which is 3 minutes away) and drove at 90km/hr without knowing that my tyre was punctured. Probably my car would have skidded really bad. :S

I'm really grateful to have met that stranger. Probably he's an angel in disguise. Thankful for that.

That brought me some good luck too because my dad decided to give me the keys to a bigger car. I'm getting the hang of it though I now take a longer time to park. I suppose I can see that blessing in disguise as a birthday present altogether. =)

Bigger ride = Bigger trunk = More space for shopping bags :)

This is an overdue pic of the spree we had. So shopping soon girls? :P
